Ramp4Paws the revolutionary idea in dog ramp design 18 Link Model
SKU: RAP18

18-Link Ramp The 18-link ramp is designed for station wagons, most SUVs and small trucks. From the ground to the top of your car bumper/tailgate, the height should be no more than 31" in order to ensure that the slope of the ramp will be manageable for your dog. (Heights greater than this may cause the slope of the ramp to be too steep.) Some SUVs (the Volvo, BMW and full-size Range Rover) are not suitable for Ramp4Paws because they have rear doors which split in half: the window portion lifts up, and the lower portion folds down to rest on top of the bumper, adding several inches to the bumper height and making the ground-to-tailgate angle too steep. The Audi Q7 bumper also presents a problem: the bumper has no rubber surface on which to rest the ramp’s rubber foot, and is slightly sloping, making it difficult to position the ramp securely. If you own a truck, with a tailgate that folds down to rest on the bumper, please make sure the ground-to-tailgate distance is no more than 31". For example, the Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon are suitable for the 18-link ramp.

RAMP4PAWS is designed for dogs weighing 160lbs or less, when they enter and exit vehicles. And, after surgery, injury, or with advancing age, a dog with limited mobility may need help climbing a few stairs. Why not let RAMP4PAWS bear the weight, instead of your back and shoulders?
Experience shows that medium to large size dogs can injure their legs and backs jumping in and out of vehicles. Through all stages of life -- from a young, enthusiastic pup to an older, less agile dog -- RAMP4PAWS can help reduce this kind of stress on a dog's body. Dog owners risk injury to their own backs when lifting dogs into and out of vehicles (especially SUVs) or helping them up a few stairs. Why wait until an emergency happens? Train your dog to use RAMP4PAWS as part of your daily routine!
RAMP4PAWS is designed and manufactured with two objectives -- safety and convenience for you and your canine companion. Every ramp comes with detailed instructions on how to use the ramp, and how to train your dog to use it. With your patience, lots of praise and enthusiasm, and some tasty little treats, your dog should learn to walk up and down the ramp with confidence.
Unlike other dog ramps, RAMP4PAWS rolls up for easy, compact storage so you can travel conveniently with it in the car. It is lighter weight than most other dog ramps. Each ramp comes with a set of textured strips which can be applied for extra traction. In addition, every ramp comes with its own washable nylon storage bag (with instructions attached).
